what is gpuds? gpuds stands for group photo upload download spot (more info on the philosophy behind gpuds to follow...) what is the advantage of using gpuds? while not open to the public and users can not order prints directly, gpuds does offer many advantages over other sites. gpuds allows users to create an album, then invite other users to submit photos to the same album gpuds users can download the original images from albums individually or they can download entire albums at once gpuds allows users to move images from one album to another (future feature) gpuds allows users to upload a zip file of images to be automatically extracted to an album (future feature) how do i get my own gpuds account? unfortunately, gpuds is not open to the public. it is a personal site started to allow my friends and family to share photos with each other. current gpuds users can, however, invite others to create a gpuds account IF they send out an invitation to view one of their albums. can i create my own gpuds albums? recently, certain users have been given permission to create their own albums. this feature is currently in beta testing in the hopes that it will be extended to all gpuds users. if you are a gpuds user and want to start creating your own albums, just let me know how many gpuds albums can i create? gpuds users can create up to 10 albums. this limit can be increased with the approval of the gpuds administrator. how many images can i put in my gpuds album? gpuds users can store up to 50 MB worth of images in an album. therefore, it may be beneficial to reduce the size of the images prior to uploading if the pictures were taken at a high resolution. this limit can be increased with the approval of the gpuds administrator. (recommended image resolution is 1024x768) can i change my user information? yes. you can change the email address used to log in to gpuds, your name, and your password. (no other information is stored about you) why do i have to use my email address to log in to gpuds? your email address is used only to let you know when people have added you to their albums and for important site notifications. gpuds will NEVER give out your email address to spammers!
